Wrapid Bond™ is a wraparound corrosion protective coating consisting of a modified and reinforced visco-elastic adhesive applied onto a polyethylene carrier film. Supplied in roll form, Wrapid Bond™ provides effective corrosion protection by providing a barrier to water and oxygen. Wrapid Bond™ is for use on underground pipelines.

Superior Mechanical Protection
WrapidCoat™ PE is tough, polyethylene based tape with special high tack adhesive formulated to resist corrosion of metal piping systems below ground and as a mechanical protection outer wrap for WrapidBond™ coated pipe. The high tack adhesive and tough backing provides an effective barrier to water and oxygen which provides effective corrosion protection and soil stress resistance.
The product is resistant to corrosive salt water, soil acids, alkalies and salts, common chemicals, chemical vapors, and exposure to outdoor weathering.

Global Transmission Sleeve, or GTS, refers to a series of high performance field-applied coatings systems that provide superior corrosion protections for buried exposed and offshore pipelines.
GTS65 and GTS 80 Heat Shrink Sleeves (Below Ground):
3-layer grith weld / field joint repair system, designed for matching 3LPE and other mainline coating systems according to CSA Z245.30-14 – same performance criteria as the mainline coating. Approved system for many of the oil and gas majors with excellent Cathodic disbondment results, G8 Standard at <3mm.
Surface prep at SA2.5 minimum, requires qualified training, decent supervision and quality checks. Covers all pipe sizes up – recent supplies include 100” OD for water pipeline in Algeria. Heat required to shrink the outer backing of the sleeve also melts the inner lining of adhesive. The shrinking dynamic generated by the backing, forces the molten low viscosity adhesive into the surface profile and holds it in place during cooling. Mitigation of corrosion is achieved by insolating the joint from moisture and air ingress (Electrolyte)
